The Special Investigations Unit (SIU) appointed by the Inspector General of Police (IGP) N.K. Illangakone to investigate accusations such as extortion, mentioned in two petitions which were handed over by two parties representing Minister Mervyn Silva and Kelaniya PS Chairman Prasanna Ranaweera are still probing the accusations mentioned in the petitions.

At the end of the day, nothing will happen to the "doctor" from Kelaniya with the SLFP disciplinary committee exonerating him and finding the PS members of guilty of all charges. The "doctor" might get a promotion to another cabinet ministry post and also a change in his constituency so that he can continue his corrupt activities even more freely.

Based on the Finding Mervin will be given another Doctorate ( PHD ) ( Subject All knows ) and the Other loose their positions.
Since Doctor Mervin is so innocent and ready to face any challnages and the only person who works for the people.
Supplying Drugs,( I mean Medicines ) Not Allowing Meat to eaten, saving Animals from Slaughter House.. But doing all inside his home.
