mr Sacre Blieu, what will it be if she cut his neck as well or whatever. What matters is - the principle. No one can take the law into their own hands! The fact that she may have been harrased would mitigate the crime but will not exculpate her.

This girls actions can not be simply related to the generally accepted responds just like slapping once etc. by a gentle lady as a result of verbal harassment by someone. It was a absolute carnage and the young man was subjected to a severe physical and mental illness.

Was that girl dressed in an indecent manner? Definitely not.
And the way a person dresses is their own business not of others

Even monks dressed in yellow act indecently so should they be treated similarly?

Why not arrest the boy and teach ALL vulgar youth out there not letting a girl to walk on a street safely without being sexually harassed? In the current status of affairs in the country where an independent judiciary is non-existent this is no surprise! Look what happened in Tangalle!

Has she used the minimum force?
Phantom Saturday, 30 August 2014 01:47 AM
Whatever it is it is clear that the cops have gone crazy owing to the girl defending herself on her own a job the cops ought to have done in the first place. Hats off to the brave young lady even though she over did it. She's set an example to all other harassed young girls who find it most difficult to walk on the road these days safely.Take a bow Thilini!

Only for this reason, locals in Sri Lanka are reluctant to give evidence in any criminal activities. Unwanted problem. Why do people wanted to drag the snake and coil around their neck?
ANTON Saturday, 30 August 2014 01:23 AM
I THINK POLICE IS LOOKING FOR HIM TO GIVE A GOOD REWARD.
ANTON Saturday, 30 August 2014 01:21 AM
