The UNP said today the Sri Lanka Police Department had become the Private Security Firm of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP).

UNP Parliamentarian Ravi Karunanayake said there was reasonable doubt about the activities of police officers in lower positions when officers in higher positions like DIG’s were killing people for money.

He said he expected the law to be implemented without delay when dealing with the culprits in the Police. YP & LSP

Whatever party is in power, this is the story. I am sure the UNP would be worse when they come in to power in about 25 years (after Ranil is gone).
