Rest of the 50 % they interviewed must be policemen and the politicians. What a waste of a time.
veena Sunday, 12 February 2012 10:29 AM

Ajith Sunday, 12 February 2012 05:51 AM
We are trying to pay assessment rates to the Kesbewa PS and keep going there to be told each time to do something which has not been told at the beginning. Now that all payments have been done, we are asked to inform the "BUILDINGS SECTION" to send the file to the revenue dept, which is what we have paid for. Notwithstanding this, when we inform the building section, the peon there wants a bribe to produce it to the relevant officer. Rs. 200/= was paid with no action still. What a country!!

Did anyone spend money to do this survey...? they must be out of their mind. We all know Sri Lanka police and Politicians are Most CORRUPT on this planet.
Guzban Saturday, 11 February 2012 11:39 PM
Do you really need a survey for this? SL police are very corrupt but they are not the top of the list.
Tintin Saturday, 11 February 2012 11:21 PM
Only 50% agreed....?
Minnal Sri Saturday, 11 February 2012 06:20 PM
It is 100% true.
Ranga Kalu Saturday, 11 February 2012 01:37 PM
No survey is needed to come to this conclusion. It's more obvious than anything else, I guess.
Calistus Jayatilleke Saturday, 11 February 2012 01:20 PM
Nothing new, more than 75% of the people know how corrupt the police and politicians are. But nowadays even judiciary has lost its respect and people have to come to accept all this corruption as a way of life in Sri Lanka and the politicians carry on merrily corrupting everything around them. This is the promised Miracle of Asia!
Leslie Saturday, 11 February 2012 01:20 PM
50% believe the Politicians and Police are corrupt. The other 50% comprises of the Police, Politicians and Partakers in corruption.
In spite of much talk of corruption in Maldives it is only 6%. Good and decent politicians you deserve our praise. Keep it that way.
fazli Saturday, 11 February 2012 01:25 PM
Well ! Are we surprised ?
