Dilshan took up the Sinhalese name when he wanted to enter cricket. But it's his decision and no one else should bother!

True, a private chat is being blown out of proportion. If Dilshan has no issue with it then just drop it.

70% of Sri Lanka population is Buddhist. And Buddhists believe in freedom to think. Hence, so long as Dilshan does not mind, Shehzad has all the right to tell or advice Dilshan on what ever he believes about his heaven. It's up to Dilshan to accept it or not. BBS fight to uphold such freedom and values. The problem is Muslims are not allowed such freedom.

This remark made by the Pakistani player towards one of our players underscores the reason why Pakistan is in turmoil. Today, Pakistan is 98% Muslim, and the root cause of their on going "terrorism" is the conflict between "moderate" and "radical" Islam. Pakistan does not believe in being secular, hence this regrettable outcome, and outcome that need not be exported to our more harmonious and peaceful shores!
kithudugama Friday, 05 September 2014 04:03 AM
This moron should be banned from inter national cricket.
Ashiq Friday, 05 September 2014 04:24 AM
Originally TM was stand for Thuwan Mohamed. He then converted to Buddism and changed to Thilakaratne Mahaname. In our view he is a Murdhath (deserter of Islam). Nothing wrong to invite him again

Naveen Thursday, 04 September 2014 03:39 AM
Dilshan converted into Buddhism from Islam on his own, Ahmed Shehzad's immature fairy tail speeches ain't gonna change Dilshan's mind.
