Olcott’s associates caught transporting heroin

Six close associates of former underworld kingpin ‘Olcott’ were arrested on charges of possessing heroin.

At the time of their arrest they were alleged to have been transporting one kilogram of heroin worth around Rs.5 million. Police said the arrests were made by the Matara Division Crime Operations Unit.

The suspects will be produced before the Galle Magistrate shortly.
