A few months ago, a buddhist monk teacher was found guilty of assaulting a pupil of the school. In another twist of fate, the good judge ordered the student to apologise the monk in court while warning the police not to bring cases like that to court. Hope this judge will not do that same mistake by asking the security guard to apologise. These student monks need to show some inspiration to the nation not militancy.

Buddhism will never be disgraced because their are more gracious citizens of countries who adopted buddhism from India and practice it honestly. The disgrace is on the sinhalese who simply use buddhism for all ulterior, criminal, political and dishonest purposes.

These fellows are not monks. No wonder Gota is whacking them. He is correct. If they are monks stay in Pansala not on the road protesting. Good for them.
