Norway must be exposed for the duplicit and incompetant role they played...
rosh Thursday, 28 October 2010 05:45 PM
Im sure this statement would hurt Ranil & his peace gang's feelings
Ranil Thursday, 28 October 2010 07:12 PM
At the time of the CFA it appeared to be the prudent thing to do. Not so in hindsight. The LTTE would not have suggested anyone as a mediator if they didnt think they'd be biased toward them.
ronny Thursday, 28 October 2010 10:15 PM
cheating tamils by sinhalese over four decades is the result of norway and other countries to interfear in sri lankas matter. first correct yourself and then blame others ......
A L Gomez Thursday, 28 October 2010 10:43 PM
Solheim is a fraud. Norway spoilt the peace deal by promising Balasingham Tamil Elam through their effort. They can never be trusted.
patriot Thursday, 28 October 2010 10:52 PM
absolutly you are right sir.
gotapakaya Thursday, 28 October 2010 11:06 PM
The other major mistake is allowing Gomin Dayasri to appear before the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC).
Ajith Thursday, 28 October 2010 11:37 PM
If SL government is honest, why did not they propose any political solution to the problem (forget about LTTE). think government side? were they honest throughout the years?
Percy Mandawala Friday, 29 October 2010 01:38 AM
Did anybody mention anything when MR met and had discussions with Eric Solheim at the last UN meeting.
Sinnappanayagam Friday, 29 October 2010 02:13 AM
The prominent lawyer ,Gomin Dayasri's view about then peace Envoy Eric Solheim that “He is the chief culprit and the Government of Sri Lanka should see him as a persona non grata,” is incomprehensible.
I could now imagine how less prominent layers in Sri Lanka will think of the peace envoy.
nishan Friday, 29 October 2010 03:22 AM
"True and correct "
Izy Thursday, 28 October 2010 05:44 PM
Solehim should never be allowed to come back to SL. He was instrumental in training the sea tigers, u'll know if u saw the videos of the LTTE girls being trained by the WHITE MEN in the seas of SL.
Sudu Kella Friday, 29 October 2010 03:39 AM
Howcome RW went running to meet him ?
hemantha kulatunga Friday, 29 October 2010 04:07 AM
Another nail in the heads of RW, Ravi K, Jayalath and the gang.
modawansa Friday, 29 October 2010 04:13 AM
Who said Gomin Dayasiri was aprominent lawyer. He neither known nor respected by the legal community. He could be bought over for acouple of rupees. He lacks credibility.
Wasantha Friday, 29 October 2010 04:18 AM
MR invited Solheim to visit SL and also requested to forget the past. Now, we should give him a chance to submit his version before the LLRC, otherwise it is not fair.
Hirantha Friday, 29 October 2010 04:30 AM
The biggest jokers are who talk big here and meet them overses.
lankaman Friday, 29 October 2010 04:43 AM
who is this gomin fellow?
polkiccha Friday, 29 October 2010 05:04 AM
oh u know about RW the guy obviously is used to run into the arms of fair skinned men....or majority of men for that matter.
game kolla Friday, 29 October 2010 07:30 AM
Mr Gomin.. where you have been all this time? No point of performing a post mortem inquiry now.
Geronimo Thursday, 28 October 2010 02:48 PM
Anyway it is too late. No use crying over spilt milk,is there?
gALA PITA mADA Thursday, 28 October 2010 01:52 PM
they did same thing in various troubled places such as Bosnia,Kosovo,East Timor etc etc,But in Srilanka they played double game Thanks to MR nothing went good for them,Norway is noway now.
Ramani Thursday, 28 October 2010 02:01 PM
Yes, it was the Norwegians who actually was behind the conflict. It was all peace and quiet in Sri Lanka before they came on the scene
Yehiya-Doha Thursday, 28 October 2010 02:06 PM
Norway dont know the deep of the trouble.
kuthbuddin Thursday, 28 October 2010 02:14 PM
Where ever Norway has stepped inn they made division in those countries.and it has not solved the conflicts of those countries rather has increased tensions in between.and new arms race has happened.
Ranjit Thursday, 28 October 2010 02:17 PM
What is said by various people at the LLRC is mostly correct except some political stooges. But the big question is how the country or the Tamils are going to benefit from the findings. It will NOWAY serve a purpose and will finally have a political motive to sling mud at various people.
Nandimithraais. Thursday, 28 October 2010 02:21 PM
Yes they started with Red Barna & Jon Westborg & the Dollar & Kent Farms. In Israel, both Solheim & wife were accused of skimming off money given to the Israalis.
mallie Thursday, 28 October 2010 02:35 PM
they wanted oil; from whichever victorious side; played a double game
man b Thursday, 28 October 2010 02:38 PM
if our people understand the values of each other.why norway or other country get involving in our motherlands eithnic issues.
Premalal Thursday, 28 October 2010 02:42 PM
Thank you Mr. Gomin you are correct.
sam Thursday, 28 October 2010 02:46 PM
Finally Norwegians F.... off. Well done Sri Lanka
Ibnu Batuta Thursday, 28 October 2010 01:42 PM
Yes. Norway has aggravated the conflict situation wherever it acted as "peace brokers". Because they took side.
wasala Thursday, 28 October 2010 02:52 PM
Norway has handbook for conflict resolution and it uses the same methods and tools for all conflicts when each conflict is unique. It may do it with good motives but results are always disastrous.
MagodisThuma Thursday, 28 October 2010 02:57 PM
It was not a mistake...It was a Comedy with a Perfect Buffoon !
Rasika Thursday, 28 October 2010 03:34 PM
With Norway We had No Or Way
Yoda Thursday, 28 October 2010 04:37 PM
But is this "prominent" lawyer sure that the Sinhalese and Tamils understand each others' mentality?
MK Thursday, 28 October 2010 04:39 PM
100% agree!! and look at what ranil still does? he goes all the way to see his best pal, Eric Solheim!!
monarawila nilame Thursday, 28 October 2010 04:44 PM
Oh please don't say anything to Mr. Solheim, RW will get hurt...
dpl Thursday, 28 October 2010 04:50 PM
mr.Dayasiri please do not fool the people in the world. this is your personal motive to get some help from president. please study the democracy. and human values,
sltk2004 Thursday, 28 October 2010 04:55 PM
The Norwegians did not force us. They worked together with the governments at those times. Why didn't all these people who now give evidence say anything about it at that time?
Mohd Thursday, 28 October 2010 05:17 PM
Yes Mr. Gomin but it is too late & no use to spaek this now...so be happy...
