Excellent!!! Good luck to these brave people for protesting ridiculous regulations made to stifle the media, our journalists and freedom of speech.
Good luck to all, hope this is one of many protests.

MEDIA FREEDOM ! IS THIS FOR PEOPLE OR BUSINESSMEN ?

Calistus Jayatilleke Friday, 13 July 2012 04:42 AM

Media freedom under this government means the carte blanche given to government-controlled TV and the kept press to dish out large amounts of propaganda to fool the gullible public. Anything else is taboo and amounts to either terrorism or treachery.

Only they can talk on behalf of the public,& they keep on updating what's happening on the country!!!

Bravo! Stifling of the media is one step towards elimination of democracy.
