News Editor of Lanka e News website Bennet Rupasinghe was arrested by the Wellampitiya police when he was asked to come and give a statement with the police for allegedly threatening a brother of one of the suspects who is in custody over the arson attack on their office in Malabe.

The lawyer representing Mr. Rupasinghe said that he was arrested a short while ago and is to be taken to the Kaduwela Magistrate where he is to be produced in courts. (SD) Pics by Pradeep Dilrukshana
