Only minister to get back the same ministry is Dr.Tissa Witharana.... he deserves it....

Where is Navin Dissanayaka? Is he now trying to creep-back into the UNP?
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 08:20 PM
Dr. Tissa Vitharana was 'used' in the APRC to placate the international community. The APRC wasted 4 years and had 118 sittings just to fool both the world and our minorities. The learned doctor is thus rewarded for helping to deceive ...

S. B. Dissanayake is not sutable to run Higher Education. The best person for this is Dr. Amunugama. At least a person with a good higher education should go there to run the ministry.

I am glad Dr Tissa V has been appointed Minister. But sad that Dr Amunugama is only a Deputy - he could have at least been appointed for Higher Education as he an educationist.
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 09:18 AM
MR has shown how he treats intellectuals by appointing both Dr.Amunugam & Dr.Jagath Balasuriya as deputy ministers.
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 09:11 AM
Why was Dr.Sarath Amunugama made a deputy ? He should have been made the Minister of Higher Education
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 08:49 AM
I totally agree with Abdul about Nawalapitiya
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 08:37 AM
wish there was a place for real gentlemen in this country.

Dr amunugama maybe the best educated guy in this govt but he too is behaving like the rest. If he is genuine and capable why did he accept a deputy ministry. He very well knows that this govt is hopeless. Mr Amunugama, resign and do some social or charity work if u are honest,

All these are Afterthought Ministers!
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 08:04 AM
No one punished for wasting public money by repolling in Nawalapitiya instead they are being rewarded with portfolios What a joke.
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 08:02 AM
Dr Sarath Amunugama is a Deputy Minister. He should be in the Cabinet. Thank god he's the deputy in Finance which he is quite capable of.
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 07:00 AM
So the rascals of Kandy were given portfolios after reprimanding them. he he he.
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 07:49 AM
Begining of the Jumbo?? Lankan fools will never realise that these people will never keep their word once they got the power. At whose expence these ministers maintained????
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 07:34 AM
He's ideal for Minister of Disaster Management. Such a shame that he was a Royalist.
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 07:33 AM
I am from Nawalapitiya,Even though I have not voted for him , one must say he is the only minister who has run so many development projects in Nawalapitiya and surrounding villages. His behaviour is not acceptable, it's sad he is famous for his hooliganism and not for his service. One could only wish he changes his attitude and continues his good service. Come and see Nawalapitiya bus station , nawalapitiya hospital , garment factories, house schemes ect

THEN AND NOW I LAUGH. Sometime back there were amazing comments in this very same platform about leadership and it's qualities when there was a breaking news as if all these naughty boys are going to be expelled from the party and they are not given min, posts etc.. So I was reading and laughing those comments thinking you all people still do not know Sri Lankan Politics except few who wisely said " wait and see they will get their posts later on"
keep laughing people and live with it this is where we belong.

Technology goes to Tissa Witarana? Ohhh not again........
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 07:15 AM
The whole country saw his services rendered to Nawalapitiya during and before the election.
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 07:10 AM
This seems like a reward for violating election laws.
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 07:08 AM
What about Mahindananda Aluthgamage??? He is certainly deserving a proper portfolio.. Just see the service he has rendered to the area he has been elected. (Nawalapitiya). What have the above ministers done? Have they at least visited their home towns before the elections were announced? Sorry.

Didn't we say it was all a grand eyewash ?
Wednesday, 05 May 2010 07:01 AM
Now they can all get together and sing He is a Jolly Good Fellow.
