The cabinet has decided to observe a ‘National Safety Day’ for the first time on December 26 to coincide with tsunami anniversary. The National Safety Day on December 26 will be an annual event after this year’s main celebration in Jaffna with the state patronage aims at bringing awareness among the public on disaster management, Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said. matter of fact Shane we do have this record! add all the weekends,National Holidays and Poya Days and divide it by 365 days!!!!!

Good, at least one day out of 365 unsafe days. Why not take 18th November the birthday of MR and decalre it as a National Holiday. Nonsence.
