'My brother is the CM'

Former Minister S.M. Chandrasena said today, that his brother S.M. Ranjith will most certainly take oaths as Chief Minister of the North Central Province on September 24

He told a conference held at his residence in Anuradhapura that former Chief Minister Berty Premalal Dissanayaike’s claim that 130 local council members would resign if he wasn’t appointed CM, was untrue.

Mr. Chandrasena said his resignation was based on a request made by the steering committee before decidingwho should be appointed as chief minister.(Roshan Chandradasa)

    What I think is, steering committee would have thought that S.M. Chandrasena will never resign as, we have never seen/heard resigning politians from their posts in Our country. Its gogly ball and nicely negotiated by S.M.Chandrasena.
