MR has taken a wrong turn while contesting for GE. He should have not come with SLFP, knowing that they will dump him soon.Instead he should have used a separate party or a front to contest.Of that would have happened then by now, MR is the PM with clear majority.Yet people are not given clear mandate to him to step down. So its not ethical to take such a decision now. Politics required a matured thinking, unlike a sportsman. Sportsman has to retire when he cannot move his legs/run to score and field to catch the balls. They have a clear cut day to go out of the ground. But politics is getting better when you are matured and experienced. So its not the time. Stay in focus, time will come soon. MR is still good to the country.

In November 2014, he was the President of SL. Also, if he did not call for the snap election he will still be the President of SL today!!! I wonder why he made this stupid decision and threw all what he had to other people!!!Can someone tell me what made him do that??? Was he insane or he was made insane by the people to whom he was listening to? This is going to haunt him for the rest of his life!!

Who offered him to be the opposition leader? He is currently only a MP. Let him be that way. He should look after the stupid Kurunegala people who voted him in.

Ranil's government is on the extreme right wink. No question about that. Due to this Sri Lanka would definitely loose its former alliance from the other wink. If Mahindha Rajapaksa selected as opposition leader, there would be a balance in this situation.

He says his close confidants advised him not to accept opo.leader post. But three days ago Prasanna, Mahindananda etc. were pleading to him to not to refuse the post as he was a "Jathika Wasthuwak" (National Treasure ). Now who are your new confidants ? You are already a dud coin.
