MR sends condolence to Xi Jinping

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has sent a message of condolence to Chinese President Xi Jinping following the earthquake that struck in the Gansu Province in northwestern China on Monday, Presidential Spokesman and International Media Unit said.

“On behalf of the Government and the people of Sri Lanka, I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to the families who have suffered from this disaster,” President Rajapaksa said in his message. “I am confident that under your leadership, the people of China would be able to overcome the tragedy with resilience.”
