MR leaves for China

President Mahinda Rajapaksa will leave for China this afternoon to attend the 4th Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA).

Presidential spokesman Mohan Samaranayake said the Summit would be held in Shanghai, China from May 20 to 22 under the theme, “Increasing dialogue, mutual trust and collaboration to build a new Asia that is peaceful, stable and cooperative,”

He said Sri Lanka was participating in the CICA summit for the first time. (Sandun A.Jayasekera)
