That is right Paba. Circuit bungalows are a vital for you artistes. How about adding duty free cars and other luxuries also. Enjoy all the privileges you can get. Dont even bother to think of those fellows some of who even don't have a roof over their heads.

The problem is that foolish people of this country vote for these jokers because they have good looks but not good brain.
lalith Tuesday, 10 December 2013 04:08 AM
circuit bungalows fro artists. Is this the most pressing issue in this land to make a budget proposal! this shows what she is.
So Paba you can have some memorable holidays in all 5 circuit bungalows once those are built.

dumb idea when there are other basic urgent needs
joseph Tuesday, 10 December 2013 03:48 AM
With all the problems the masses are facing she could think of only circuit bungalows. This shows the caliber of people representing us in parlimenty
Spiky Tuesday, 10 December 2013 03:46 AM
five circuit bungalows in the country for the benefit of artistes.
This is pure selfishness. Is it these type of people who represent the poor. They care a dam about the poor but only for them selves. Yes of course the bungalows will be made and the rest will follow also.
Kiris Baba Amaray Tuesday, 10 December 2013 03:41 AM
Hay...Hay... your request is not important at this crucial time as so many people are suffering with hunger & staving. You all are living a Luxury life... its a curse for our country.
dass Monday, 09 December 2013 05:53 PM
Thanks god for talking about circuit bungalow and not talking about something like 13th amendment.

Have seen some of her teledramas and feel that she should concentrate in films, rather than getting into politics. Agree that wit her looks and flirts, she is bound to get political favours.
Bleedingfather Tuesday, 10 December 2013 02:23 AM
Great move and a great budget, circuit bungalows for film stars tax debates for casino's great. We have nothing to worry as we have bus sheds to sleep in and grass to eat.
ranjith chandraseker Tuesday, 10 December 2013 02:16 AM
No objection to circuit bungalows for the artists, but not at the cost of wild life and their environment. There should not be any circuit bungalows within national parks or that are reserved as wild life sanctuaries. As it is most wild life sanctuaries are encroached by farmers and tourists industry endangering their natural habitat and destroying, source of food.
Sena malli Tuesday, 10 December 2013 02:12 AM
Dumb idea from a Govt MP. What economic benefit these talentless "artists" bring to the country. Circuit bungalows were created to provide lodging for traveling govt servants on the job. Are these "artists" working for the Govt now? What has this country come to?
dIREsTRAITS Tuesday, 10 December 2013 01:41 AM
This was all that was missing for the artistes. Aren't we so lucky ? We should give these type of forward thinking geniuses permanent ministries. Oh wait, we already have! God bless Sri Lanka!
Punny Pellow Tuesday, 10 December 2013 01:37 AM
That is what the actors are doing. Postal Dept. with a massive loss has constructed a luxury bungalow in N'Eliya costing over 400 million. For whom? Actors and actresses?
girl friend Tuesday, 10 December 2013 01:15 AM

"Once upon a time a Wolf resolved to disguise his appearance in order to secure food more easily. Encased in the skin of a sheep, he pastured with the flock deceiving the shepherd by his costume. In the evening he was shut up by the shepherd in the fold; the gate was closed, and the entrance made thoroughly secure. But the shepherd, returning to the fold during the night to obtain meat for the next day, mistakenly caught up the Wolf instead of a sheep, and killed him instantly." So, who kills whom now? She should watch what she says.
