Yes, it would appear there is something missing here. Why would a wife go to Anuradhapura from Galle without husband’s knowledge? I feel both husband and wife are hiding something here. Either they are in dispute over something or they are already separated.

Doctors especially Anaesthetists should be more responsible. She tells her Husband that she's caught up in a traffic jam in galle and then she's found in Anuradhapura. I am really suprised how such absent minded people can become Doctors let alone Anaesthetists. What if an excessive dose of general anaesthetic is given to a Patient ?

If she had gone voluntarily, the husband should be fined a heavy penalty for giving a false complaint. This had wasted the resources and time of the Police. Also, Police salaries are paid by us "The Tax Payers" and not the Government.
