Mini tornado hits Fraud Bureau

A mini tornado was experienced in the Wellawatta area this moring,   causing damage to the roof of the  Fraud Bureau building in Wellawatta and injuring a Police constable. The injured Police officer was admitted to the Kalubowila Hospital and is now undergoing surgery, the Police said

The tornado had also caused damage to several houses and a temple in the area.( Sanath Desmond and M.S. Perera)
