Mill owners to declare

The government has decided to introduce a new legislation which makes it mandatory for mill owners to declare their stocks of rice and paddy to the Paddy Marketing Board (PMB), Chairman K.B. Jayasinghe said today.

Mr. Jayasinghe told Daily Mirror today that the draft legislation had been referred to the Attorney General’s Department now. (KB)
