The Defence Ministry said that prior permission should be obtained to wear the uniforms of Security Forces when appearing before the media and the films.

“The ministry decided to standardize the using of the Security Force's uniform by the members of the Security Forces, Actors and Actresses while they appear before the media, films and Tele dramas,” the ministry said.

Also said that if any person or organization wishes to use the uniform of the Security forces in above situations they should obtain the prior permission from the Ministry of Defence through the Media Centre for National Security.

“The rules and regulations regarding the using of the uniform have been already imposed. If any person or organization goes against this procedure would be prosecuted. It is further informed that the using of visuals in the news telecasting with the uniform of Security Forces has not been prohibited by the Ministry of Defence,” the ministry added

Another step 2 restrict media freedom. How can we ever hav a good film industry? Anyway is it OK 2 dress in uniforms & act like jokers in 'Ranaviru Real Star'

If you don't understand English please don’t write. It clearly mentioned that to obtain prior permission. Uniform for the brave soldiers not to cowards like you.

Mr. mich, seems ur brain is not advanced enough process certain info. Like what's really gonna happen. If sum1 makes a movie that criticize the govt. they'd not give permission if there's a military suite involved. ex: If sum1 wants make a movie on SF's life. Now do U get it my not so intelligent friend
