In that case, all purchases of military hardware should be probed. What about the MIG purchase during the UNP govt time in 2002-2004 ? These projects on the basis of Tenders have ben corrupt from the post 1977 era. Tenders are called from pre qualified to award the tender to the lowest bifdder. This has not been the case in every tender. If a genuine inquiry is to be made thn post 1977 must be inquired as well and not this way to take revenge

Proper probe expected. Incidentally, the case filed by Gota against Sunday Leader and Lasantha was interestingly settled in courts with an apology from Sunday leader recently after the election of new President.
