If Sihalees ready to fight them-self, i mean if only sinhalees fight with Tamils, Tamils may achieved Tamileelam. But Sinhalees have Indian army, Chinees army, Russion army and 24 countries military support. But LTTE have Tamils support only. Ask you army who was in the last war that how was they feel that war and identify the reality. If sinhalees not feel that Tamils also Sri lankans and they also have same rights, then the delivery of Tamileelam will not stop by any one.

There will be no tamil ealam in Sri lanka but Sri Lankan tamils who can live with dignity. I think that if you start your strugle again for a tamil ealam, then you will have to struggle for ever. Think of living in a united Sri Lanka. On the other hand, govt and hardline politicians should promote peace and avoid sidelining all minorities.

Please pick UK, Canada or India for that matter. Sri Lanka is such a small place to be divided, don't you think so ? How could it be possible for over 35% of tamils to live in Colombo if there are such issues ?
Tamil extremists should realise that Peelam would never happen in Sri Lanka also the extreme Sinhalese have to stay away from stirring unnecessary confusions among other ethnic groups.
We need to prevent terrorism and heal the wounds... we don't want to go back to pre 2009 era.

GR is a great statesman and I think he is the kind of leader that Sri Lanka needs now. A no nonsense attitude and straight forward talking GR is best suited to take over the leadership of this country. He is no politician but a professional and despite that fact his family is involved in politics at the highest, he still believes in discipline and have can do attitude. We should salute him for being like that. All the best in his future endeavours – eradicated terrorism with the esteem support of our forces including the leadership of SF which no one could decline or forgot, it’s time for GR to wipe out underworld operations, corruption, etc.
