The UNP Parliamentarian had been summoned to court after a complaint was lodged that he had allegedly given Rs. 4.2 million to the then MP Mohammed Musammil of the National Freedom Front to gain his support for the Presidential polls which was held in January. Mustapha was also told to appear in court on July 2. (AW)

We remember there was another guy by the name who encouraged Mustapha, his name is Jinnah, a bearded activist in a Saudi dress, unusual for a Sri Lankan. He has been photographed in the company of Mustapha on numerous occasions.
