UNP MP Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe paid the cash deposit at the Elections Secretariat a short while ago on behalf of Common Opposition Candidate Maithripala Sirisena for the January 8 Presidential Election.

Mr. Sirisena will contest on the New Democratic Front (Nawa Prajathanthravadi Peramuna) ticket under swan symbol. (SD)
