Luxury cruise from Chennai to Trinco

The Ports and Highways Ministry said yesterday that a five-star passenger service from Chennai to Trincomalee will commence on June 2. The AMET MT Indian cruise ship includes 500 cabins, a swimming pool, four restaurants, a gym, a spa and other facilities.

A Ports and Highways official said that the luxury service will be catered to wealth clientele. The ship is currently in the country for inspection purposes. (OJ) (Daily Mirror online)

i think the whole idea is to decentralise the economy from colombo. we need commercial capitals for each region in the country. this is a great plan if executed well.
trinco is one of the most beautiful places in the country, and on earth.
the govt should be encouraged to build infrastructure in all regions so people and businesses can flourish anywhere in the country.
