First of all he is not a western provincial Councilor. Any one who is trying to take the lay into their own hands should be punished under applicable criminal code of conduct irrespective of his or hers pristine positions at religious, spiritual, social, political or diplomatic level.
Game_Baiyaa Thursday, 29 January 2015 11:21 AM
In what capacity did he visit the CJ? If he was not welcome CJ could have turned him back at the gate. Why should CJ waste his time do meet this guy? Claims from both side donot have any credibility?
Iwan Thursday, 29 January 2015 11:31 AM
Asath Sally has no right whatsoever to interfere with the judiciary of the country, there is a Justice Minister and appropriate authorities who can handle the issue with CJ in appropriate manner. He is still the CJ as per the crimes there is a decent system to punish him but not burst into existing low of the country and we must respect him, if the CJ has committed his house and threaten him, we condemn this kind of barbaric acts in the strongest possible terms
H.Samarasinghe Thursday, 29 January 2015 11:51 AM
Mohan Peris was not a CJ. Mme Shirani Bandaranayake is the CJ 43 till she retires today.
Pandi Thursday, 29 January 2015 11:51 AM

Nothing wrong with Mr. Asad Sally. We know always he talks for the right.
suriyabandara Thursday, 29 January 2015 09:10 AM
Threre are so many yahapaalala now. Those who wanted a change have got what they asked for. I hope they are enjoying a napotism free, clean non corrupt government and a independent justice system.
Bubble Banda Thursday, 29 January 2015 09:10 AM
How badly Madam Shirani Bandaranayake was treated by MR, comparing to that this is just a petty matter.
Thomas Thursday, 29 January 2015 09:11 AM
Whatever the matter may be with CJ, Azath Ali has no business to visit CJ and advice him to resign. That is non of his business. This type of thuggery should STOP
Vijith Pieterz Thursday, 29 January 2015 09:12 AM
In fact only Mohan Pieris is in fault holding and hugging and trying to be in power without the willingness of the public.
Horri Jimonis Thursday, 29 January 2015 09:14 AM
Mr. Asad Sally has gentleman qualities and he is straight forward. No one can raise their finger against him. This is also a way to chase greedy MP.
shameer Thursday, 29 January 2015 09:20 AM
