Light showers expected

Light showers can be expected in the Western and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and Galle and Matara Districts while thundershowers are expected in the afternoon and evening in the Central and Uva Provinces, Meteorologist-in-charge D. A. Jayasingharachchi told Daily Mirror online

He added that the coastal line of the island will not be rough while winds with speeds of 20-30 Kmh from the South West could also be expected along the coastline. The Southwest Monsoon has not developed  fully yet  and the monsoon is expected to affect the island in 3-4 day,  Meteorologist-in-charge D. A. Jayasingharachchi said.  (Daily Mirror online)
