LGB to be dissolved on Jan 10th

The government decided to dissolve Local Government bodies on January 10th at a special UPFA meeting held at the Temple Trees today Chaired by President Mahinda Rajapaksa. The meeting was attended by all constituent party leaders of the government, a reliable source of the Government said.It was speculated that polls to elect members to Municipal Councils, Urban Councils and Pradeshiya Sabas will be held on March 30th.
