Laugfs goes hydro

Laugfs Gas distributor has decided to enter the country’s mini hydro power generation sector with an initial investment of Rs.500 million, a Stock Exchange disclosure filed by the company said.

This is its first investment in the hydro power sector and the company expects to develop Ranmudu Oya Mini Hydro Project in Balangoda under its fully owned subsidiary M/s Laugfs Power Ltd.

Two days back the company also said that they have struck a deal with Bharat Petroleum of India to supply the local market with an innovative metal cutting gas.

    It's not called a 'stock exchange disclosure'. It's called a "filing with the SEC" because it is a disclosure filed with the SEC.

    TDDC I am not saying this should not be given to private sector.My point is whether there is a necesary to have this plant nwt ? reduction in rates ? If yes it would be benifit the people.
