A 34-year-old Sri Lankan was arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport this morning on charges of attempting to smuggle eight gold biscuits worth Rs.4 million from Singapore, Customs Spokesman Leslie Gamini said.
He said the suspect was a resident of Kattankudy.
Mr. Gamini said the Customs officers found four of the gold biscuits concealed in an old electric iron while the other four were in his baggage and that the gold biscuits weighed 800 grams. (Chaturanga Pradeep and Deepa Adikari)

Probably this guy would have made a 150,000 with this gold, less than the cost of shoes of the rich kids.
