A Sri Lankan housemaid is on trial in Fujairah on charges of beating to death a Filipino maid working at the same house, a newspaper reported on Wednesday.

Police arrested the Sri Lankan maid after suspecting she was behind the death of the Filipino, who died in hospital, the Arabic language daily 'Al Bayan' said.

Doctors said the death was caused by severe beating as her body had many bruises and wound marks.

During questioning, the Sri Lankan maid confessed to assaulting the victim, but it was not clear what triggered the attack. (24/7)

Uncontrolled anger is the reason. Still those who train our housemaids here before they leave for jobs in the middle east must teach them how to work with filipinos/nas. Usually they are so aggressive and sometimes become ruthless!
