Lankan dies midair

A 58-year-old Sri Lankan on board an Emirate airways flight from Singapore to Colombo had died of a heart attack this morning, an airport official said.

 

They said the deceased passenger was identified as Lakhsman Perera a resident of Polgahawela.

 

He had complained of a chest pain in midair but had died by the time the plane had landed and at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA). Arrangements had been made to take him to the Negombo Hospital but he was found dead by then.

    very sad story....but the nice news is he landed in SRILANKA 4 HIS funeral... unlike others...life is short.. may his soul rest in peace...
