'Kotiya Sunil' arrested

Heroin dealer Kotiya Sunil had been arrested with 33 packets of heroin this morning at his residence in Wellawatte by the Wellawatte Police anti-vice squad.

The suspect had been remanded several times on previous occasions for illegal drug dealing.

His daughter, Modara Raneesha who was found guilty for possessing 7 grams of heroin was sentenced to death by Colombo Magistrate on June 8. (Rekha Tharangani)
