Kolonnawa UC chairman remanded

The Chairman of the Kolonnawa Urban Council, Ravindra Udayashantha was remanded till August 22 for allegedly assaulting the Deputy Chairman of the Council, Suresh Kodagoda.

Chairman Udayashantha today surrendered to the Colombo Magistrate’s Court through a lawyer. (LSP)

    It is a shame that thuggery is the qualification for politics in Srilanka, If the political leaders allow this to continue, we will only have Thugs to rule this country and do politics. The thugs have come into politics and truthful sons of this soil are no where! What a shame!
