What's happening to mothers in Sri Lanka. A mother is supposed to be the embodiment of unconditional love but we are, since of late, hearing a lot of stories about mothers abandoning, torturing and even killing their children. Is it stress of modern day living, materialism, greed for more money ..???

Cost of Living is sky high. Government should understand people do not eat cameras, mobile phones and cars. Reduce the prices of essential commodities you can prevent many problems people are facing.

Leaving her own son in the lurch, is not easy for a mother where-ever, but it happens in Sri Lanka. Killing her small children and then committing suicide is not easy for a mother where-ever. But it happens in Sri Lanka. You can not always attribute these happening to mental conditions.
