Currently UNP doesn't have the power to stop anything. Races will go on and the cost of living will rise.
If you really want to stop the races organise a protest on the race circuit. But I doubt your 6+ leader will not give room for that.
In fact he will be present to watch the races.

I doubt the people are being inconvenienced judging from the crowd at the races last year. People love the night races and even the hotels are promoting it because it attracts a lot of foreigners. Come out of the Stone age Karu!

But then the journey to be the Miracle of Asia has to be on a fast track in a racing car and cannot be undertaken in a bullock cart. The general public can be considered as casualties on either side of the road cheering the Royals on their way towards Utopia.

Expenses involved in car racing is nothing when compared to the other mega scale wasteful activities,(such as DEYATA KIRULA ) promote by this Govt.

If I can remember ,Good old days we used to have car races, every now and then . What ever the expenses ,ones who can afford will take part and others will enjoy. Are you going to make this Country as gloomy as your party.
