Karaoke Judge sacked

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) today sacked former Tissamaharama Magistrate and Additional District Judge H. Anura Seneviratne for attacking a security officer and threatening people by firing gun shots to air at a karaoke bar in Colpetty.The JSC sources said that the Magistrate who was interdicted on September 27 following his involvement in the incident was dismissed from the judicial service as he failed to tender resignation on time. Law is Low when the law is not above the law makers, where law makers are coming from lawless families and have law moral values regarding the peoples right to be protected by law. But this is a good example saying that law is above the people who are sworn to practice the law and abide by the law.
