'Julampitiye Amare' surrenders

“Julampitiye Amare” the underworld figure who was accused of the shootings in Katuwana had surrendered to the Tangalle High Court a short while ago, the Police said. Police spokesman SP Ajith Rohana said that the notorious figure had surrendered to the high court for offences committed before and not forbeing charged with the current shooting.

“ He surrendered on charges of offences he had committed previously, he had escaped from jail in 2002 and there were chargers murders committed in Middeniya, against him” he said.

The accused G.G. Amarasekara had surrendered to the high court through a lawyer, sources said. (HF)

Most of the dictators even in the recent past thought that they would survieve against all odds, that's the mindset of them, but what ever bad they do always follow them and get them to surrender to the people. We have many recent examples on this. Those who do the same in our country also will face the same.
