what is this? why cant uni students protest for a true cause without being termed as JVP? what right does the VC have to cancel mahapola? how many students survive on it!

Batcha, if possible, let them come to Europe and do management. They will be like frogs in the well. Those who pass out our untiversities can hardly write or talk English.
Ranjith. BG Wednesday, 10 August 2011 11:44 AM
Antare in front. Still small amount of foolish people supporting this JVP.
Andriod Wednesday, 10 August 2011 11:46 AM
Please don't underestimate these students, they are very smart but helpless. The VC is a pervert who visits the girls hostel at 8.30 pm by force.

I think majority who comment here does not know the Japura VC's past actions. False witnesses, illegal arrest of students are some. JVP or not, this guy deserve worse than this!
Batcha Wednesday, 10 August 2011 10:28 AM
It seems that somebody must have made you fool bcz of the primary question ask from a university student. But I don’t say that you can’t find ten twenty such foolish students among 100,000 of students in universities. If you investigate a particular population you will find wide varieties in that population including a very few not worthy sample as well. But you must not understate the whole population bcz of few not worthy elements. Please have a look at the reality. Who does most of high profile companies manage in Sri Lanka? 90% of them graduated from SL universities. Don’t blame others just bcz of you couldn’t pass to universities!!!!!

The day we see a JVP free country... the universities will be back to normal
William Wednesday, 10 August 2011 10:13 AM
Not house arrest but taking hostage...see how media is trying to whitewash criminal actions.
Samantha Wednesday, 10 August 2011 10:05 AM
I agree with you for the behavior of few university students However the majority are behaving in a good manner and most of them are getting good jobs and they can talk few English words too Hope you missed the university entrance in your AL

People never appreciates anything given free. If these student were made to pay for their own education they will be more busy trying to pay off their fees than do stupid things like this and they will appreciate and be extremely proud of their hard work! End result will benefit this nation with a work force with a better work ethic!
Prasa Wednesday, 10 August 2011 09:47 AM
Dias, he might have taken u for a ride by saying Bob Marli
