Very good soup.

Good move because both parties can work within and maintain their own ideals whilst working toward a common goal. The war made us resilient but this Govt is going just a bit too far.
Wara Tuesday, 13 November 2012 12:01 PM
Yes, RW would have sweet memories in UNP era in 1980s. That's all he would remain.

Can we call it day dreaming/
Junior Citizen Tuesday, 13 November 2012 09:57 AM
To commemorate 'Hero's day ? The JVP leader Wijeweera was pushed LIVE into the burning pyre AT KANATTA by the UNP

Both rejected by majority,at least you could not hold your parliament seat, so what can you do in this movement.
WarElephant Tuesday, 13 November 2012 07:31 AM
Hardly so, unp is getting stronger, they'll consume the jvp
Sudu Kalla Tuesday, 13 November 2012 07:06 AM
They have only a political agenda and not one for the people. These idiots will only succeed in causing traffic jams and nothing more.
Sue Tuesday, 13 November 2012 04:17 AM
The need of the hour is for a very strong opposition. UNP & JVP may have very different policies, but there's one common ground and that is to show the Govt. that they cannot have everything their way. Go for it guys and do whatever it takes to bring some relief to the suffering masses and if possible topple the Govt. Thereafter you can go your own way.
Upu Tuesday, 13 November 2012 06:41 AM

mohandev Tuesday, 13 November 2012 05:54 AM

Amila G Tuesday, 13 November 2012 05:37 AM
At the moment nothing will stop.
Samara Tuesday, 13 November 2012 05:07 AM
this is a very good move by the major opposition parties, but government will sling mud at JVP; also the breakaway faction of JVP also will make use this to attack JVP. At this cost for JVP, this is a very good move for avarage people and the country as a whole.
Fayad Tuesday, 13 November 2012 04:48 AM
Another disaster is looming do something meaningful on your own as a party.
Cancer Tuesday, 13 November 2012 04:25 AM
JVP would boost their flagging political status at the expense of the UNP. The marriage is bad for UNP, but would do a world of good for JVP to increase their ever declining vote base.
pachaya Tuesday, 13 November 2012 04:25 AM
Yes, enemy's, enemy is my friend until enemy is destroyed !!!!
Al Rasa Tuesday, 13 November 2012 04:20 AM
Another drama to further paralyze UNP
