Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalitha lashed out at DMK President, M. Karunanidhi today for failing to raise any objections against the   training of Sri Lankan military in India, claiming the silence is due to his wish to curry favour with the Congress to support his daughter Kanimozhi to be re-elected to the Rajya Sabha.

"Despite the DMK exiting the central government, Karunanidhi is not opposing the centre because he needs the support of five Congress legislators for his daughter Kanimozhi's reelection," she said.

Kanimozhi is one of the two DMK members in the Rajya Sabha who will retire on July 24. A total of six members including Elavarasan and V. Maitreyan from the AIADMK, Tiruchi N. Siva and Kanimozhi from the DMK, B.S. Gnanadesikan of Congress and D. Raja of the Communist Party of India are among those due to retire next month.

The AIADMK leader has become a vocal critic of India's Sri Lanka policy and has accused Sri Lanka of committing largescale atrocities during the end stages of the war that crushed the Tamil Tigers. (Source: IANS)

This sort of bad copycat behaviour will be a feature in a future Northen Provincial Council. A script written by the jokers in Tamil Nadu assembly is available free of charge to TNA. Enough is enough! Scrap the PCs and 13A before we all get sucked into live teledramas.
