India is terrified of Chinese entry in Sril Lanka. there is a big difference between Chinese and Indian involvement. Chinese mean business activity but Indians involve in filthy activities. like u see they have spent billions of dollars in Afghanistan but few in its neighbor countries. Only to block Pakistan in Afghanistan. they have supported our enemies year and year. we don't want them in our country.

    willows Monday, 29 November 2010 06:58 AM

We have to be careful whereever consulates are open because intelligence persons work there as genuine embassy staff and do other activities. Government must be vigilant on this. This is why consulates are open and investors are brought in. Just because we want to create employment opportunities does not mean that we must break security protocols

KD, Damian, -now you cant talk no more LTTE talks in sri lanka. now China Srilanka India talks only.

    KD Sunday, 28 November 2010 07:51 AM

Very soon we will see UNP work with LTTE diaspora to block foreign investment in the area.

    Jeph Sunday, 28 November 2010 12:19 PM

Humbanthota is place where world war will start? Do you know how Singapoor became Chinese country? How is Burma populated with Chinese?

    Damian Sunday, 28 November 2010 10:25 AM

Paul sad your LTTE is no more!!!!!!!!!! thats the rtuth for you..

    Kumara Sunday, 28 November 2010 08:52 AM

Well said DXB, Dear KD, see around all the FTZ & most of the direct foreign investments were at the time of UNP. Can you show us any such job generating process by your belowed government?

    Mifaz Sunday, 28 November 2010 08:47 AM

    Is he another puppet??

    Jane Sunday, 28 November 2010 08:42 AM

How much foreign investment coming in ? and how much UNP
can block ? If govt policy is good and implementation is sound no one can block anything ! Put your house in order first !

    Paul Sunday, 28 November 2010 08:31 AM

    Dear Minister,
If you keep talking about Hambanthota and comfortably forget the current situation in the north and east ,and plight of its people which no other country can intervene to resolve, then the whole purpose your visit is lost. You came, you saw and went back empty handed.

    DXB Sunday, 28 November 2010 08:25 AM

You have to check up your anxiety with a Doctor. UNP is the only party laid strong infrastructure to Sri Lank , And only party who managed the the economic very well with two uprights.
I think you are an ardent fan of Pachawansa !!
