Indian arrested with fake ID

An Indian national has been arrested by the police crimes division in Kantala with fake identification papers, the police said adding that he has now been remanded till next month pending further investigations.
The Indian, a resident of Chennai, had arrived in Sri Lanka in 2005 on a 30 day visa but had stayed on after producing fake identification papers, the police added. (Daily Mirror online)
