Inspector General of Police (IGP) N. K. Illangakoon is in Puttalam today to give orders to the police in dealing with the situation. He will hold a meeting with senior police and army officers in the area.
A number of statements was taken from people in the area but no arrest was made as the situation would worsem if an arrest was made, the police said. (SD)
Law & order is a must for a country. Take strong action against violaters.
