Minister Mervyn Silva’s son Malaka Silva says that he has not decided to enter active politics at the moment, but if there is any request from the public he will seriously consider it. “I have not decided to enter politics right now as I am busy with business and social service activities,” he told Daily Mirror online.

He also said that if there is a request from the people he will seriously consider it and enter politics with the full blessings of President Mahinda Rajapaksa and his father. “I am already involved in charity work as well as social service activities for the welfare of the people, because I was brought up insuch a background, but I firmly believe in the people's power,” he said

I don't think there is any reason to judge a person by what media might believe of him . Just because some politicians have a back bone to comment on things publicly compared to some who do it behind the citizens back, does not give any reason for any of us to judge .. It's a view they particularly believe in and what some citizens might believe .. Each individual has a right to live their life and have a personal life as this is a democratic country .. So in this democratic country give respect to everyone's own personal and judge your own character before you judge anothers .
