Heavy traffic jam in Fort

A "Kottamba" tree which fell in front of the Telecom office in Fort has resulted in a heavy traffic jam in and around the area, the police said.

Police also stated that a team from the Colombo Fire Brigade is already there to remove the fallen tree. (SD)

    The “Kottamba” trees opposite the “Transwork House” (now in a decapitated condition due to the occupation by traffic police) gave lot of shelter for nefarious dealers/dealings.
