This news indicates how irresponsible, ignorant and misleading the statements made by opposition with regard to the current government's conduct.

It's a blessing to be born in Sri Lanka for we are a healthy country in every aspect except for the deteriorating political disturbance under the present government.

We appreciate the continued free health care available and the qualified doctors practicing in government sector hospitals, compared to other countries.
NAIDE Wednesday, 15 December 2010 03:58 AM
STATISTICALLY VERY IMPRESSIVE. WHETHER ORDINARY PEOPLE RECEIVE THE HEALTHCARE AS STATED IS ANOTHER MATTER. ANYWAY, THESE FIGURES ARE MOSTLY DUE TO PEOPLES' OWN CONTRIBUTION.

Well Wisher Tuesday, 14 December 2010 07:55 PM
Very Good. Excellent achievement for the fact that the resources were limited. The target for the end of 2012 should be to top in whole of Asia, with all the money spent on free education in training doctors, nurses and other related staff and the money spent on free healthcare, now that the war has ended.
Ranjith Tuesday, 14 December 2010 07:49 PM
Credit should go to all previous governments for continous improvements.
