Business tycoon Harry Jayawardena has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), the Petroleum Industries Ministry announced a short while ago.
Jayawardena who is one of the most prominent and controversial Sri Lankan businessmen, was formerly the Chairman of Sri Lankan Airlines and the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation.
