I think all hotels, motels, inns & resorts should install cameras on each floor and entrance, this could reduce the crime

Since SL does not have the death penalty, what they need to do like in the US, is publicly publish names/photo's of the CONVICTED sex abuse/ rape criminals in each province. Since in SL, REPUTATION is considered very important, this might...just might encourage people to stop doing these things. There is some psychology involved here, hopefully the relevant authorities has some idea on this!!!

At least they do so openly, due to lack of means for privacy - they can hardly commit serious crime such as rape publicly?!
Ralph Anthony Kernr Thursday, 26 July 2012 09:40 AM
No mercy should be given to him. This is the result of not imposing the Death Sentence by hanging. ( Miracle of Asia)

The JHU which made a big fuss about celebrating Valentines Day is now maintaining a deadly silence in the face of raping and murder of minor girls and women by their own associate political party members in the government. is it because they have now given up their campaign for ushering in a "Dharma Raajya".
colombo Thursday, 26 July 2012 04:37 AM
Why not the JHU n bhikkus intervene or rise up against rape and child abuse??? isnt it a grave sin in the land of buddha? over to you JHU.
Dadoriya Wednesday, 25 July 2012 03:58 PM
In this miracle island even orphans are not safe.
Fusion Thursday, 26 July 2012 04:06 AM
So where are those who voted for the JHU expecting a "Dharma-Rajya"? This is a "Raaksha-Rajya" where even orphanages are not safe!
parak Thursday, 26 July 2012 04:11 AM
Need to look for other elements also, taxies etc. cos it is an organized thing. All has to help this as the younger generation is the future of this country.
irshard Thursday, 26 July 2012 03:16 AM
This country of ours is SICK!!!
Just Another Citizen Thursday, 26 July 2012 03:04 AM
Why not have better crack down on the offenders? In other countries, it is made public who the offenders are & they are labelled sex offenders for life.
ramkuumar Thursday, 26 July 2012 02:36 AM
How the public can identify the criminals and wanted person by police? What about parliament and other councils which hold many crimes and black money robbers of public fund, who will be responsible for giving accommodation to this type of criminals.
nicky karunarathna Thursday, 26 July 2012 02:37 AM
Guest houses should be have their liberty to operate their own, especially for couples are concern. What's point of going to guest house all alone for holiday or recreation? Better to be at home and guest houses to be close down!
senavi Thursday, 26 July 2012 02:36 AM
They already under surveillance by politicians and their senior officials
Calistus Jayatilleke Thursday, 26 July 2012 02:34 AM
Would this directive apply to the guest houses owned and operated by UPFA politicians as well who are the main culprits carrying out child molestations inside these guest houses.
